Computers Open the Door

Survivors hack computers until the exits unlock. The beast downs people in three hits and can freeze them in a cryo chamber. A round is lost when every survivor is caught, and won when the hacked exits are used.

Spreading out finishes computers faster. Staying in rescue range is how a downed teammate gets out of the chamber. Both are true. A team that all piles on one computer, or a team that hacks so far apart nobody can save anyone, both lose.

The Minigame Is Accuracy, Then Speed

Match the pattern. The first tiles are where people rush and fail the hack. Speed shows up after the pattern is boring.

Sit where you can see the approach. Drop the hack when the beast is close. A finished computer you die on is still progress. A death in the middle of a hack you refused to leave is nothing.

Tables and corners break line of sight. Sprint is for the juke, not for the empty hallway. The stamina bar is the same lesson as every other chase game on this site.

The Beast Should Guard the Last Computers

Chasing the survivor who is already across the map feels busy. The survivor on the final hack is the round. Stop the computer that opens the door.

Bear traps belong on the computers people have to walk past, not in a closet nobody uses. The hack sound is the cue. Listen for it instead of patrolling a room you already checked.

Learn the Classic Facility

Classic Facility and Warehouse are the maps at the top of our list because the computers and the exits are readable. Multi-exit and open-yard maps are the next shelf. Vertical maps and snow are harder to path. Tight corridors and single-exit variants are where new beasts farm free downs.

The Order

Hack where you can see. Save teammates who are close. As beast, camp the computer that ends the game. Learn Facility or Warehouse before a maze.

If you only change one habit: leave the hack when you hear the beast. The computer will still be there. You might not.
