Evade — Stamina Is the Round, Points Are the Shop
How Evade stamina and maps decide a run, what the live codes pay in points, and why tokens are the other currency.
You Lose When the Bar Hits Empty
Evade is a nextbot runner. The bar is the resource. Sprinting the whole corridor because you heard a sound spends the stamina you needed at the corner where the bot actually was.
Tap the sprint. Walk the safe stretch. Save the bar for the moment the nextbot has line of sight. Players who hold sprint from the exit door meet the bot with nothing left and call the map unfair.
Learn Warehouse Before You Queue a Maze
Warehouse, Parking Lot, and the classic Backrooms are the maps at the top of our list because you can read them. School, Mall, and Office are the next shelf. Forest and Hospital ask for more route memory. Maze maps and low light are where new players donate the round. Event nightmare variants are a different difficulty, not a place to learn the stamina bar.
Pick one readable map and run it until the exits are boring. Then add a map. A random queue is how you learn nothing about any of them.
The Bot's Speed Is the Puzzle
Nextbots are not the same animal. Some are fast and dumb in a straight line. Some punish the player who doubled back into a dead room. Listen for which one spawned before you commit to a hallway.
A barrier, a medkit, or a teleporter — the things tokens buy — are answers to a specific bot, not decorations. Spend tokens on the tool that would have saved the last run. Spend points on the daily shop when you want a cosmetic. They are different currencies. Mixing them up is how people think a code 'didn't pay.'
The Live Codes Are Points
Redeem from the CODES button on the right of the main menu. The four we still list, rechecked with the 13 September batch and left in place on the 22 September pass, are HAPPY4THBIRTHDAYEVADE for 40 points, isurviveddatahaul for 60, SUMMER2026 for 50, and the long Trollge string for 30. Evade retires milestone codes. Redeem a new one the day it is verified.
Points unlock cosmetics in the daily shop. They do not refill stamina. A full cosmetics page and an empty bar is still a death.
The Order
Redeem the points. Learn Warehouse or Parking Lot. Sprint only when the bot can see you. Buy the token item that answers the bot you keep dying to.
If you only change one habit: let go of sprint on the straight hallway. The bar is for the corner.
